Meet the Team
KATE SAVAGE
Founding Partner Kate has been working in the arts field for over 30 years. She has a degree in Art History from London University, London, England. She is passionate about all the arts as well as driven to helping others develop their appreciation for original artwork. For the past seven years she has been offering a corporate loan-to- buy program that helps organizations develop an intentional collection. In addition to her role at Art Source, Kate is Executive Director of the Lexington nonprofit organization Arts Connect that she founded in 2018.
BECKY ALLEY
Founding Partner Becky Alley is an artist, curator, creative collaborator, and educator. She earned her BFA in Printmaking/Drawing from Washington University (2000) and her MFA in Studio Art from the University of Kansas (2005). In 2017 she was named the inaugural Kentucky Fellow as a finalist in the Southern Prize, and in recent years has been awarded numerous research travel grants from the Great Meadows Foundation. In 2018 she was awarded an Artist Enrichment Grant from Kentucky Foundation for Women to create new work and was featured in the national publication New American Painting published in 2020. In 2024, along with fellow curator Samantha Simpson, she founded Muse Collective, a Kentucky-based curatorial collective mounting pop-up exhibition throughout Lexington. She is currently Senior Lecturer/ Bolivar Art Gallery Director at the University of Kentucky. |
